
The CCSU Blue Devils Fall Invitational, hosted by Central Connecticut State University, will be contested on September 7th - 9th, 2013 at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The tournament will be played as a 36-hole stroke play event and will consist of a practice round on Saturday, September 7th; 18-holes on Sunday, September 8th; and 18-holes on Monday, September 9th. Players dinners will also be held on Saturday and Sunday nights for all teams. Wintonbury Hills Golf Course was deisgned by Pete Dye in 2005, and was Dye's first championship design in New England. Owned by the Town of Bloomfield, it has been ranked by Golfweek Magazine as the #1 Municipal Golf Course in New England and #13 Nationally.

PAR AND YARDAGE: Wintonbury Hills Golf Course will measure approximately 6,710 yards in length for the Championship and will play to a par of 35-35--70. ARCHITECT: Wintonbury Hills Golf Course was designed by Pete Dye in 2005, and was Dye's first championship course design in New England. TEAMS AND FORMAT: The tournament is open to any NCAA golf program, and consistently attracts some of the best collegiate golf programs in the country. Each school brings a team of five players, and four out of the five players scores each day count towards the team total score. |
