Tournament History

The CCSU Blue Devils Fall Invitational is an annual collegiate golf tournament hosted by the Central Connecticut State University each fall. The tournament was founded in 2010 and aims to provide a first-class championship experience to each and every team.

The tournament is hosted by Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The tournament will be played as a 36-hole stroke play event and will consist of a practice round on Saturday, September 7th; 18-holes on Sunday, September 8th; and 18-holes on Monday, September 9th. Players dinners will also be held on Saturday and Sunday nights for all teams. Wintonbury Hills Golf Course was designed by Pete Dye in 2005, and was Dye's first championship design in New England. Owned by the Town of Bloomfield, it has been ranked by Golfweek Magazine as the #1 Municipal Golf Course in New England and #13 Nationally.

Our 2010 event marked the inaugural CCSU Blue Devils Fall Invitational and it was an overwhelming success. We look forward to working toward growing the tournament into one of the premier collegiate golf tournaments in the country. We hope that you will join us September 7th - 9th, 2013 for what promises to be another exciting championship.
